541 "Homies"
"541 Homies" is the mentorship/assistant program through 541 Dance for the
"Vibe City Tour" and our "541 Workshops".
Our "Homies" are chosen at workshops and tour stops by our faculty. In deciding who we bring on into our assistant program, we look for dedication, growth as a dancer, work ethic, passion for their craft and dancers that stive for the opportunity to grow through mentorships, assiting our faculty and being positive role modes for dancers that we meet in all our cities.

"The best part about 541 is that it takes these amazing choreographers, much like a convention setting, but puts them in a much more intimate space. This allows for more growth for the dancers, more funa s a whole and more one on one help from the faculty. Not to mention the relationships built with these choreographers are arguably the most important thing." - Doug Parr, Tour Assistant
"The instructors are the best in the industry. They are approachable and the smaller classroom environment allows for every student to be pushed and benefit from the experience." - Matthew White, Homie

"541 has changed me as a dancer by boosting my confidence. Since the first time I went to 541 I feel more confident in the way I dance, especially in Marty and Ivan's style. The best benefits of 541 Dance Experience are the intimate environment, connections you build with the choreographers, and how fun of a time you have!" - Kelci Schuman, Homie
"One of the best benefits of 541 is that you get these top name dancers and choreographers in a small and condensed environment. It's up close and personal and you build relationships with them. It's a huge connection that can be used throughout the rest of a dancer's career." - Reed Dixon, Tour Assistant
